With each lap, runners will experience the varied terrain, including rolling hills, and wooded areas. Visit Baum Lake each loop and enjoy a beautiful starry sky at night. Burro race specific info
Welcome all burro racers! It is up to you to provide your own donkey! You are in charge of your own ass, sorry not sorry…
All burros will be treated humanely. No striking, dragging or mistreating in any way. Or you will be disqualified. All burros must have a pack saddle with shovel, pick and pan to get an official finish. I don’t care how your gear is attached to the saddle just that it is done so safely. Max length of 15’ rope for all burros. If you have a Jack you must be able to control him in an environment with pretty ladies that can be flirty. Your burro can not carry you but you are welcome to try and carry your burro…good luck with that. There will be water available and near by dry camping. No grazing so please bring your ass some food.
Let’s help this assome sport grow! Run the 4.6 ish mile loop as many times as you want in 48 or 24 hrs!
